Trim or allow hair to grow about ¼ inch (ideally two to three weeks of growth). Exfoliate gently 24–48 hours before, avoid self-tanners or strong retinoids, and arrive with clean, dry skin to help the wax adhere and ensure a comfortable treatment.
Some discomfort is normal, especially on first treatments, but our trained therapists use quick, precise pulls and soothing techniques to minimize pain. Breathing and relaxation help, and topical numbing or pre-care can be discussed for very sensitive clients to improve comfort.
Appointments usually take 20–30 minutes, including consultation and brief aftercare. Timing may vary based on hair density or additional treatments. If combining with other services allow extra time so our team can deliver precise, unhurried results and proper skin soothing afterward.
For most clients we recommend scheduling every four to six weeks, depending on your individual growth patterns. Regular waxing can reduce hair density and make sessions more comfortable over time. We'll advise a personalized schedule during your appointment.
If your skin is irritated, sunburned, broken, or actively inflamed, we advise waiting until healed. Those with sensitive skin should book a patch test and disclose medications like retinoids or acne treatments. Our therapists adjust technique and products to protect delicate skin.
Avoid hot baths, saunas, intense exercise and sun exposure for 24–48 hours. Skip exfoliation for the first 24 hours, then gently exfoliate and moisturize regularly. Use fragrance-free products and avoid shaving; follow specific product recommendations from your therapist for best results.
