Typically 3–6 weeks depending on hair growth and individual factors. Regular waxing weakens follicles, extending smoothness over time. Avoid exfoliation within 24 hours; use recommended aftercare to maximize longevity and schedule follow-up appointments as hair regrowth becomes noticeable.
Sensitivity varies by person and area. Our estheticians apply numbing techniques, fast waxing methods, and soothing aftercare to reduce discomfort. Many clients say initial sessions are more sensitive, then become easier as hair thins from regular waxing.
Exfoliate gently 48–72 hours before to remove dead skin, and ensure hair is at least 1/4 inch. Avoid retinol, tanning, or heavy moisturizers 48 hours prior. Arrive clean and avoid lotions so wax adheres properly.
Avoid hot showers, heavy exercise, and sun exposure for 24 hours. Apply soothing aloe or our recommended lotion, exfoliate gently after 48 hours, and wear breathable fabrics to prevent irritation and ingrown hairs.
Waxing weakens hair follicles over time, resulting in finer and sparser regrowth, but it's not guaranteed permanent hair removal. Consistent treatments can significantly reduce density, and combination with other professional options may increase long-term reduction.
People with active sunburns, open wounds, severe dermatitis, or recent chemical peels should postpone waxing. Those on certain medications or with very sensitive skin should consult our esthetician or physician before booking to ensure safety.
