Typically 20 to 40 minutes depending on hair amount and any pre-treatment needed. Consultation and aftercare included. If combining with other services allow extra time; first-time clients may take slightly longer.
Some discomfort is normal, especially on first sessions, but our estheticians use numbing products, warm wax and gentle technique to reduce pain. Regular waxing typically becomes less uncomfortable as hair thins and regrowth softens over time.
Avoid exfoliating 24–48 hours before, skip tanning, and come with clean dry skin. Hair should be about ¼ inch (6–8 mm). Avoid heavy lotions or oils so wax adheres properly and yields the best results.
Most clients enjoy smooth, hair-free skin for three to six weeks. Individual results vary by hair growth rate, hormones, and maintenance routine. Regular waxing can extend time between appointments as hair grows back finer and sparser.
Waxing can sometimes lead to ingrown hairs, especially without proper aftercare. Exfoliate gently two to three times weekly, moisturize, and avoid tight clothing immediately after waxing. We offer guidance and products to help minimize and treat ingrown hairs.
Certain conditions like severe sunburn, active skin infections, recent chemical peels, retinoid use, or uncontrolled diabetes may contraindicate waxing. Disclose medications and skin treatments during booking so we can advise and ensure safe, effective service.
