At your Bridal Trial we begin with a focused consultation about hair and makeup preferences, inspirations, and any wedding-day constraints. We test different looks together, making incremental adjustments so you can compare options. The goal is to leave the appointment with clear decisions and confidence about how your styling will come together on the big day.
During the trial we assess how each style reads in salon lighting and near-window daylight, and we set accessory placement such as veils and pins so proportions look correct. You’ll see how hair and makeup interact; any necessary tweaks are recorded so your stylist can recreate the agreed look for your ceremony and touch-ups.
Planning for local conditions

Bridal Trials are busiest March through May as brides finalize looks ahead of summer and fall weddings. If your wedding falls during or after those peak months, plan to schedule early; availability can tighten around Serramonte and Westlake shopping windows and convenient commuter times for guests traveling from San Francisco or South San Francisco.
Logistics and final decisions
Bring photos, your veil or headpiece, and any hair accessories so we can judge scale and placement during the trial. Expect to weigh final choices against practical constraints like travel, touch-up timing, and how many people need styling on the wedding day; the trial helps prioritize what’s most important and what can be simplified.
Our Bridal Trial appointment fee is $200, payable at booking to reserve the session. The trial fee covers the consultation and styling time for this appointment only; wedding day hair and makeup services, travel, or additional artists would be arranged and priced separately if needed for your venue or timeline.
