Never judge a book by its cover here. First time, customer wanted to try something more close by to home. I had an appointment and got in right away.

Jacky has been my hairstylist for 30+ years. I moved out of the Bay Area 20 years ago, and his salon is now about 100 miles away from where I live, so I can’t visit him as often as I’d like. But whenever I have a hair disaster, Jacky is always there to rescue me.
I usually dye my hair myself every 8–10 weeks to cover my gray in between professional styling. A few months ago, while traveling, I had highlights done at a random salon, and unfortunately, the highlights were uneven. It completely ruined both the color and texture of my hair. Along with the new growth, my hair became a complete mess.
Jacky was truly my hair savior!
He patiently spent hours taking care of my hair, section by section. He carefully corrected the uneven color, blended my new growth, and covered my grays while creating a youthful-looking color.
When I got home, I parted my hair to the side and checked the color closely—and I couldn’t see any gray! The new highlight color is absolutely beautiful, and I love how naturally everything blends together.
What I especially appreciate is that Jacky didn’t just try to correct my hair color. He carefully toned it to create a result that will continue to look beautiful as my hair grows out. The grays will blend in much more naturally and be far less noticeable. He also applied a treatment to smooth and restore my hair, and it feels silky again!
Jacky was patient, meticulous, and incredibly skilled. He completely restored my confidence in my hair.

Annie is literally the best!
This was my first time with her and I can tell how knowledgeable she is. She went through all the possible outcomes based on my current hair. She gave me a lot of options to decide on and she did an amazing job executing what I was envisioning!
She made sure I was sure with my decisions. I wanted shorter hair and she even cut little by little to ask to see if I wanted it shorter to make sure we didn't do a big chop and have me regret it.

It is a plus that she is totally funny and will keep you laughing throughout the entire appointment.

I feel the love she has for what she does and the care she puts into her clients.

All the clients I saw walk out of to this salon had amazing hair so you will be in good hands no matter who you go with.

I 1000% recommend Annie at Hair Lux Salon. I’ve been going to her consistently because she’s the only person I fully trust with my hair. I naturally have super dark, thick Asian hair that is REALLY hard to lift, and somehow she always gets me the perfect blonde while keeping my hair healthy and soft. My hair has never felt fried or overly damaged with her, which is honestly rare when going this blonde.

She also convinced me to cut my hair after years of trauma from other stylists cutting too much and she literally cut an inch but it really made a difference. My hair always looks so blended, healthy, and effortless after I leave. Annie pays so much attention to detail and actually listens to what you want. Every appointment I leave feeling so much more confident.

I recommend her to literally all of my friends because her work is just that good. If you want someone who knows how to do blonding properly, especially on dark hair, Annie is 1000% your girl....more

Jodie is highly skilled Hair Stylist. Jodie is an artist with warm hands, excellent in mixing colors/dyes, very creative, very patient. I’ve been to Lux Image Beauty twice now and Fiona is honestly amazing. She’s super patient, really listens, and takes her time to make sure everything comes out right. I never felt rushed and she explained the process so I felt comfortable the whole time.My hair came out beautiful the color is blended so well and feels healthy. You can tell she really cares about her work and about her clients. The salon is clean and relaxing too, which is a plus.

Annie saved my hair!

I tried to give myself a layered haircut to help my natural wave pattern come out a little bit more and I royally messed it up. I also found out I don't really have much natural curl. Womp womp! So I decided to get a perm to help with the curl and a trim to rescue my hair from the hatchet job that I did to myself.

Annie was able to get me in last minute as the original hairdresser that I was scheduled to be with did not show up today. I cannot tell you how grateful I am to get Annie as my stylist.

I got an adorable body wave to get the curls that I wanted, and she cleaned up the absolute carnage that was my hair when I walked in. She was able to leave a lot of the length as well so I'm super pleased with how it turned out. 😄

She told me no more cutting my hair by myself and I will obey because she is my new go-to stylist for keeping me looking sharp....more

I always have a very good experience whenever I go to this salon located in Westlake Daly City. Our regular hair stylist is Chau. Me and my husband love her. I was pleasantly surprised! I went in for a keratin treatment, blow-dry, flat iron, and trim. I am mixed with 3a-3b hair, but they treated my hair really well and made it look way less damaged and more shiny. Weinay was my stylist and she was so sweet and kind! Not sure how much experience they have with any hair types in the 4 range, but I am really happy with the results and think I'll come back to this salon for more services!...more

This is an upscale salon. I used to see my stylist Chau at Elite Salon until she moved to Lux Image Salon. Chau has expertise in color, hair cut, styling and more. I have been getting my hair done by Chau for over 5 years. Whenever I am there people are either walking in or calling to get an appointment with Chau!
